Training of 8/4 through 8/10 2008

Still dealing with a calf strain this was week 4 of hills... still no luck with anything remotely flat...

Mon AM- 6 mile S.B. Hill loop
ICED
Sauna Routine- 3 x 20 donkey kicks each leg, 3 x 20 fire hidrants each leg, 1000 abs, hip hikers, etc

PM- 8 miles- 6 miles of hills at B,
8 x 10 repeats of The Dip
8 x 100's at the track
Played Tennis w/ Shane, Dave and Jody---> ICED

Tue AM- 6 miler on S. B. ( sore) ICED
Sauna Routine

PM- 6 miler on S. B

Wed- 6 miles at B

PM- 4 miles at B
8 x hill repeats
Sauna Routine

Thur- AM- 6 miles on NCR ( big mistake)

PM- 4 miles at B
8 x hill repeats
1/2 Sauna Routine ( not feeling well )

Fri- AM- 6 miles in Hereford

PM- 3 mi on NCR- really hurting
Sauna Routine
* Deep Tissue w Steve

Sat- OFF- minor surgery at hospital
PM- recovering. 4 x codine

Sun AM- 3 miles gently on hills
Sauna Routine
PM- 5 miles on Slab Rd.

Total- 65 miles, in 6 days.... not much lifting... recommended time off from surgery is next 6 weeks... so my biggest fear is missing running but we're going to take it day by day and see what happens
