Training of 8/18 through 8/24- and MORE HILLS

Week 6 of hills ( beleive me, I'm bored of them too... but I'm not allowed to change until the calves are better!)

I was so relieved to make it through the first week back after surgery that I really felt better about attacking this week, and ended up with positive results...

M- AM- 6 miles of hills on S.R.

PM- * Acupuncture *
6 miles of hills at B
8 x repeats of THE DIP
8 x 100's at the track
Lifted 1 hour

Tue- 6 miles of Hills on S. R.

PM- 6 miles of hills at B--- ate way too much this night

Wed- AM- 6 miles of hills at S.R. at 5 am
Sauna --- then held a brokers open and ate way too much

PM- NIGHTMARE!!!!!!

3 x 100's---- OMG... I was in sooo much pain from whatever I ate at the Open- I forced myself to get through this, saying that it was a practice for dealing with extreme discomfort. But OH MY GOD- I literally cried when I got back to my car, because i was doubled over with so much pain in my stomach. this was a NIGHTMARE run.


Thu AM- 6 miles of hills on S. R.

Mid day- walked 2 miles

PM- 6 miles of hills at B--- still feeling horrible

Fri AM- 6 mile hill loop on S. R.

Sat- AM- 6 miles of hills on S. R.

went to swim club with friends and layed out all afternoon

PM- 1 mile- felt totally dehydrated and horrible. Stopped. Went home, ate, drank a gallon... layed down for 5 hours. Cancelled tonights plans and tried to run again at midnight.- Made it 1 mile and was so uncomfortable stopped again! GRRRRRRRR!

Sun- AM- 7 miles of hills on S. R.
Iced

PM- 6 miles of hills on S. R.
ate and slept!

Total- 85 miles, and feeling better
