Updates from 4/14- 4/20

After those 5 weeks of Resting my Calf, I started to ease back into it. It was still pretty tender...

Week of 4/14-4/20

M- AM 3 miles easy on trail- felt tender/uneasy
sauna/abs
Back Work

PM- walked 2 miles
Played Tenis w/ Jody

T AM- ran 2 miles easy on hills

PM- Ran 3.5 mile hill workout ( 1.5 warm up, 6 x hill sprints, 1.5 cool down)
walked 3 miles

W AM- 3 miles on hills

PM- 4 miles on trail- Calf VERY tender

***** This week I had a problem that would last for 15 days, it felt like I had a boulder right under my breast bone, while the lower part of my abdomine, beneath the naval was completely empty. After trying an asian remedy for purging, with no success, we kept to a liquid diet of soups, protein shakes and jellos, I had stomach massages, and 4 hours of acupuncture to finally get the s tomach cavity to release. This was not only very painful, but caused EXTREME discomfort throughout my runs. This put another pause on all my workouts and hill repeats, since it became more or less a test of if I could even get through the 3 miles at all
