EMILY!!

First, Happy Belated Birthday!

Second, I can't believe that about the dog attack!!! That's insane- what kind of redneck asshole does that?!?!?! You should run with a can of mace from now on, and if you see dude or his demons again, give 'em an eye-full!!

Third, I'm glad that your running is improving. So exciting! And you're freakin' fast! I'm jealous, haha.

Finally, ran my marathon this morning, and PR'ed by over 42 minutes!!!! I didn't break 4 hrs like I had hoped (just wasn't in the cards today), but I'm still ecstatic at how well my race went. I'm going to take a break from so much running now to focus on the MCAT and med school applications, but I think once that's behind me, I might do a couple half marathons. Much more fun than the full, and less stressing on the body, haha.

Anyway, keep up the good work. I'm still shocked about/angered by that story! Glad that you're ok though and it isn't interfering with your goals.

Oh, forgot to let you know- I gave up all distractions for lent, so I won't be on facebook or AIM until after Easter (and honestly probably not until after the MCAT, May 10). So send me an email sometime when you get a chance: mike.casner@gmail.com. :)
